Participatory Planning Workshops in Kalamata: Children Design the City
Description :
We invite children and teenagers aged 12 to 18 from Kalamata and the wider area to take part in a unique participatory design program! Together, we will imagine and design how we want our neighborhoods, streets, parks, and public spaces to look and feel. The ideas and proposals of the participants will contribute to creating a city that is sustainable and inclusive for everyone.
The program consists of six interactive workshops, taking place from November 2025 to February 2026. At the end of the program, participants will present their ideas to local stakeholders and will have the opportunity to take part in awareness campaigns, as well as co-organize a children’s and youth festival in spring 2026. Participation is free of charge, and certificates of completion will be provided.
