KardamiliArtDoc Films @ Doc Café: The Engraver, by Sissi Morfi

Description :

The 3rd Kardamili Art Doc Festival came to a close with great success! For our friends in Kalamata who couldn't make it to every screening, the Kalamata Creative Documentary Center is bringing festival films to Doc Café throughout October.
We begin on Friday, October 9, with The Engraver by Sissy Morfi.

The Engraver
Greece, France, Germany | 2025 | 61’
A journey into the workshop of engraver Christoforos Katsadiotis, where traditional printmaking meets the moving image. The film explores his artistic vision on society, religion, and human nature, while the vandalism of his artwork at the National Gallery by a Member of Parliament sparks a broad public debate on freedom of artistic expression.
