Produced in 2024, the film is a loose adaptation of the books Folded Wings and Cloudy Seabed by Giannis Atzakas (Agra Publications). It is a deeply human and historically pivotal narrative centered on Giannis, the son of a resistance fighter, who in 1949 is handed over to Queen Frederica’s "Children’s Villages" (Paidopoleis). There, through six years of confinement and Cold War propaganda, the child is confronted with the manipulation of ideas and a growing fear regarding his own origins.
