The A49 art space in Kalamata hosts the opening of the first solo exhibition of the artist Georgia M. Papoutsi entitled “COLOR IN TRANSITION – From photography to painting”.
The exhibition presents an evolutionary path from the initial photographic depiction to the painting surface, where memory, matter and gesture compose a single visual field.
The images are born slowly, organically, through successive layers of color and light, inviting the viewer to follow the very act of creation and not just the final result.
