A journey into the untold story of the Greek women who left alone, without their husbands, on trains departing from Larissa Station toward an uncertain West Germany. Throughout the 1960s and '70s, these "invisible" Gastarbeiterinnen worked hard in German factories, faced racism and separation from their children — and yet stood tall, became emancipated, and changed their families' destinies.
Through rare archival footage and deeply moving personal testimonies, Kostoula Tomadaki's documentary is a tribute to the mother, wife, and worker of the Greek diaspora.
