Documentary Screening: Mission 200
Description :
Mission 200 by Volodymyr Sydko is a film that is raw yet deeply human. The title refers to "Cargo 200," the military code used for the transportation of casualties. Our protagonist, Tatiana, is a symbolic figure. Before the war, she organized leisure trips; now, she organizes the final journey of soldiers back to their homeland.
This is a road movie of death and redemption. We watch her drive thousands of kilometers, sleepless, like a female Charon—not ferrying souls to Hades, but bringing children back to their families so they can finally find peace. It is a film that pays tribute to the "unsung heroes" who pick up the pieces left behind by war.
