Director Eylem Kaftan traces the footsteps of Burhan Doğançay guided by his wife Angela Doğançay from her Manhattan apartment in New York to his museum in Istanbul. Kaftan finds an extraordinary woman who backed the artist up, dedicated herself to his artwork even years after his death. Set against the backdrop of whispering walls of the world who chronicle winds of societal change from 60’s to 2000’s, Kaftan explores the uniqueness of Doğançay’s lifetime of work and questions why it is still relevant today.
