“Dawn, the Kiss”: Dimitris Zarreas presents in Kalamata a Musical Journey into the Human Soul

A special musical evening dedicated to poetry, music, and the emotions that bring us together.
Kalamata-born composer and classical singer Dimitris Zarreas presents his original work, “Dawn, the Kiss” (“Avgi, to Fili”), a cycle of original Greek art songs exploring love, affection, loss, and the strength of the human soul.
Born out of personal experiences, the work evolved into a musical narrative about life, change, and our ability to rediscover the light within.
A Different Musical Experience
Three classical voices and a four-member chamber ensemble come together in an acoustic concert without amplification, where natural sound, simplicity, and immediacy create a unique connection between the performers and the audience.

Lena Motou – Soprano
Alexandros Ibrahim – Baritone
along with the musicians:
Angelos Lioukas – Piano
Leoni Alyfanti – Violin
Maria Bitsikokou– Cello
Eleni Galanopoulou – Flute
“Dawn, the Kiss”, which has already been presented at the History Museum of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), now comes to Kalamata, the composer’s hometown.
