{"id":2790,"date":"2025-11-07T02:20:43","date_gmt":"2025-11-06T23:20:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/events.kalamata.gr\/event\/poetic-choreographies-on-the-stave\/"},"modified":"2025-11-07T02:20:43","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T23:20:43","slug":"poetic-choreographies-on-the-stave","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/events.kalamata.gr\/en\/event\/poetic-choreographies-on-the-stave\/","title":{"rendered":"Poetic choreographies on the stave"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Creation time, with free admission, within the framework of the activity \u00abPoiitikoi Dromoi\u00bb (&quot;Poetic Pathways&quot;), where a creator reveals which tools psychologically and intellectually they use to craft their work.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this, questions will be posed to them such as:<\/p>\n<p>How does poetry transform into a song?<br \/>\nHow is the metered verse set to music, and how is the free verse set to music?<br \/>\nDoes the song have a structure, and what is it?<br \/>\nIs the structure the same for all songs?<br \/>\nDoes the composer&#039;s value system influence this transformation?<br \/>\nEach answer from the composer will be accompanied by an example performed by Giannis Thomopoulos, accompanied on piano by the composer.<\/p>\n<p>The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions related to translating poetic words onto the staff.
