The book presentation: 'Eleftherios Venizelos as a Shaper of History' by Thanasis Diamantopoulos

The Public Central Library of Kalamata, in collaboration with the Municipality of Kalamata, invites you to the presentation of the new book by Thanassis Diamantopoulos, "Eleftherios Venizelos as a Shaper of History." The event will take place on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 7:30 PM at the Amphitheatre of the Cultural Center of Kalamata.

Speakers will include Angelos Syrigos, Member of Parliament for Athens A, Professor of International Law and Foreign Policy at Panteion University; Thanassis Christou, Professor of Modern and Contemporary History at the Department of History, Archaeology and Cultural Heritage Management of the School of Humanities and Cultural Studies at the University of the Peloponnese; and the author himself.

Greetings will be delivered by the Mayor of Kalamata, Athanasios Vasilopoulos; the Deputy Regional Governor of Messinia, Efstathios Anastasopoulos; and the President of the Board of Trustees of the Public Central Library of Kalamata and Deputy Mayor of Finance of the Municipality of Kalamata, Pipina Koumantou.

The event is supported by the bookstore Vivliopolis and Patakis Publications.
