18:00 – Short film screenings with the filmmakers present: “Liwan: a Story of Cultural Resistance” (2021, 29’) & “The Tooth and the Rock” (2024, 19’).
21:00 – Live with Spark of Fire & Johnny B Full Band. Followed by an Ambient–Chill Out Atmospheres DJ set with DJ War.
SATURDAY 17/01
11:00 – Karagiozis shadow-puppet show for all ages: “Karagiozis & the Serpent of High Prices” with Kostas Kamariaris (Psychraimia).
12:00 – Book presentation: “Anthology of Modern Greek Literature: Poetry (Learned & Folk) from the Middle Ages to Today” (H.–R.–S.–H. Apostolidis).

Heterotopia: a real “other space” within society, where the dominant relations of space, time, and community are suspended, reversed, or re-signified.
In this Foucauldian sense, the Heterotopia Project is being born in Stoa Londou as a cooperative bookshop–café/reading room–multi-purpose cultural space, organised as a Social Cooperative Enterprise for the Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups. We operate horizontally through a workers’ assembly, reinvest our income back into the project itself, and return surplus value to the community.
We invite you to our three-day opening festival, featuring film screenings, discussions, book presentations, music, a community kitchen, and activities for all ages.
