Event for the Universal Children’s Rights Day

The Public Central Library of Kalamata, in collaboration with the Municipality of Kalamata and the SOS Children’s Villages centers in Kalamata, invites you to the event organized on the occasion of Universal Children’s Rights Day, on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 18:00, in the Foyer of the Kalamata Cultural Center.

The central theme of the event is the presentation and discussion of Children’s Rights, as enshrined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989), through the book “Do I have a right? I have a right!” (Mikri Selini Publications). The event will be honored by the presence of the book’s author and General Director of the Network for Children’s Rights, Panos Christodoulou.

Participating in the event with visual art creations, theatrical performances, and choral presentations are the following school units:

This celebration is dedicated to children and their rights—an opportunity for all of us to remember, reflect, and celebrate together the importance of respect, love, and freedom for every child.
