Event for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the Women's Rights Association, a member of OGE (Federation of Greek Women), invites you on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 7:00 PM, to House by Phaos to participate in an important awareness and action event titled:
"We Fight Against All Forms of Violence Against Women: In the Workplace, Education, Family, and Against the Violence of Imperialist Wars and Displacement."
Speakers Athina Magourilou (Social Worker), Katerina Balampani (Philology Professor and member of the Board of the Women's Rights Association, OGE member), and Sophia Smyrni (Lawyer) will address topics including:
-Gender-based violence in the workplace and education.
-Domestic violence and ways to combat it.
-The tragic impact of armed conflicts and displacement on women.
Your presence will amplify the message that together, we can fight for a world free from violence, with respect for human rights and equality. Let us come together to discuss, reflect, and take collective action for a fairer and safer society for all women.
